GPCL offers several technologies to support the analysis of DNA methylation patterns. These include:
- Sequenom® MassARRAY Epi-typer® utilizes mass spectrometry to determine the percentage of methylation in targeted fragments of DNA. Sequenom has a number of pre-selected panels available and has service available for custom assay design.
- Illumina® HumanMethylation27 provides single nucleotide resolution for 27,578 CpG islands covering 14,000 genes for 12 samples in parallel.
- Illumina GoldenGate® offers single nucleotide resolution for up to 1536 loci on 96 samples. Custom and pre-selected panels are available.
- Affymetrix Tiling Arrays use chromatin precipitation to provide an avenue for examining the genome wide patterns of methylation.
